چکیده
Manhole cover is an important device of urban drainage infrastructures. The hydraulic characteristics turbine-type manhole covers were studied through numerical simulations and physical experiments. flow field water surface investigated. process divided into two parts: free regime submerged regime. Numerical experimental results are in good agreement. It indicated that the depth constant later stage unstable drainage, while it changes with time determines discharge under subsequent condition. influence on mainly reflected stage, which period linearly related to square root depth. While regime, affected by volume fraction second order. correlation between proposed based dimensional harmony principle. With characteristic massive discharge, design provides one more choice construction.
